Conor is the co-founder of our US development business.

Conor holds a BEng degree in Mechanical Engineering, an MSc in Sustainable Energy Engineering, and an MSc in Sustainable Energy Finance.

Conor has 6 years of experience across a range of technical and project management roles in solar and wind energy projects. Most recently, he led the development of over $50 million worth of solar projects from origination through to both sale post construction, and holding and operating.

Previous roles included technical due diligence, contract analysis, technology reviews, asset management and remote monitoring projects.

When not in the office, Conor enjoys a variety of sports, cooking and travel.

Colin is the co-founder of our US development business.

Colin holds a BEng degree in Civil & Structural Engineering and an MSc in Sustainable Energy Finance.

Colin has extensive experience in both engineering and financial roles within the renewable energy industry. Initially he worked in a technical capacity developing hydro power plants and electric vehicle charging infrastructure before moving into corporate finance where he was responsible for the development of a renewable energy asset portfolio for a major utility.  Most recently, he was part of a $200m private equity fund who invest growth capital into low carbon technology companies where he was involved in all aspects of both new and existing investments and sat on the board of the firm’s portfolio companies.

Colin represented Ireland at junior international level for Rugby. When not in the office, he enjoys travelling and swimming.

Sizwe holds an MSc in Geographic Information Science and Environmental Management. He also holds a BSc in Biology and Chemistry and Post Graduate Diplomas in Geoinformation Science and Earth Observation, Geoinformatics-GIS Operation and Information Processing and Programming.

Sizwe previously worked as a GIS Technician for a Swaziland Agricultural and Water Development Enterprise with special focus on irrigation facilities and water. He also worked as a GIS Officer for a Swaziland Valuation firm that specialized on property valuations.

Outside of work Sizwe’s main interest is martial arts in which he currently holds a Fourth Dan/degree Black Belt in Taekwondo. He enjoys other martial arts such as Kickboxing, Muay Thai and Boxing. Sizwe represented Swaziland in various regional Taekwondo championships and is the 2009 Kwanjangdo Taekwondo Championships Gold Medalist.

Andy worked in corporate finance in the City of London for 6 years raising money for a wide range of renewable energy businesses and projects, leaving to found a solar development business in 2010. Since 2010 the business has grown to become a founder and/or majority investor in several businesses in the UK and overseas.

Andy read Politics and Economics at Warwick University.

Andy continues to strive for friendliness, professionalism, trust and diligence to all be part of the company ethos. Such an ethos has rewarded the business since 2010, with over 18 utility scale energy projects all now operating in the UK.

When out of the office Andy enjoys water sports and cross-country running.

Simon holds a first class MEng (Hons) degree in Mechanical Engineering and is a chartered member of the Institute of Mechanical Engineers.

Simon has 8 years of experience across a wide range of renewable technologies from landfill gas to hydro. However, he specialises in solar PV and co-founded OST Energy in June 2008. He has participated in over 3,000 MW of solar projects all throughout the project lifecycle from site selection through to operational analysis.

In his consultancy role he has assisted developers, investors and banks with technology reviews, contract negotiations, due diligences, yield studies, take over procedures and operational analysis.

Outside work his main interests are playing a variety of sports, cooking and family.

Oliver is the co-founder and Director of OST Energy, an engineering consultancy specializing in renewable energy. Since conception OST Energy has advised on over 5 GW of solar, wind and biomass renewable energy projects in over 25 countries across the world.

Oliver has personally lead over 200 renewable energy project reviews encompassing technical, commercial, contractual and regulatory issues and is dedicated to delivering quality services to the varying needs of utilities, technology providers, project developers, project owners, private equity and lending banks at different stages of project execution. Prior to founding OST, Oliver worked on a comprehensive range of power engineering projects worldwide on various generation plant including; landfill gas, waste incineration, on shore and offshore wind, solar thermal, marine renewable technologies, combined cycle gas turbines, and coal fired plant along with CDM projects for various technologies.

Oliver is a skilled project manager and project director, with sound experience leading multi-disciplinary teams of analysts, industry experts, and engineers on sustainable energy projects worldwide. He holds a Master of Science in Renewable Energy Systems Technology, and a Degree in Electrical Engineering.

David is a member of the Association of Accounting Technicians and brings with him a wealth of experience gained in Green industries, including architects, corporate responsibility and renewable energy. He is particularly versed in running large projects of greater than £10m, keeping a close eye on prime costs, as well as internal audit.

David also has human resource and health & safety skills and supports the office with these functions. Outside of work, David is a keen sailor in training and cyclist, and enjoys the gastronomic delights of the many restaurants in nearby Hove.

Ben holds a BSc (hons) in Surveying and Mapping Science and an MSc in Renewable Energy, Enterprise and Management.

Ben previously worked as an equity analyst for a City of London stockbroking firm that specialised in the Renewable Energy and Cleantech industry. Prior to this Ben managed the survey of a glacier in Norway to research the effects of climate change.

Ben represented England at junior international level for the winter sport Curling. He is a Master Scuba Diver, enjoys sailing and rugby and is currently training for an Ironman.
